I am trying to make Gallo Pinto but the beans aren't working out for me...?!
okay so i'm trying to make gallo pinto but rice never gets that dark, dirty color it's supposed to be!. i think it may be because i'm using canned beans!. so i'm going to try again but use dried beans, however one of the online cooking videos i watched, said to reserve liquid(which is dark black and inky) from the beans!. where does the liquid even come from!? other tutorials, the water the beans are cooked in is always clear!. i need help!. i want to make the perfect gallo pinto!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

They always say " Practice Makes Perfect"!. Look at a couple other recipes and try again another time!. You will figure it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
