Question: How do i cook a artichoke i just bought it from the store!.!. Y!? cause it looks strange, and i like it!.!.!?
Answers:
Cut off the stem, use scissors and cut off the sharp tip from each leaf!. Cut off the very top straight across!.
You can steam it at this point and then dip each leaf in melted butter or hollandaise sauce

OR

after trimming, spread open leaves with your fingers and stuff with a mixture of pamesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic, water and olive oil!. Place in a shallow baking dish in a hot oven til a leaf pulls off easily!.
That's what I do but if you want exact directions, look up Italian stuffed artichokes!.

Whatever recipe you use, you pull off each leaf and scrape your teeth over the softer base of the leaves!. When you are finished with the big outer leaves, use a spoon to remove all the fuzzy stuff away from the inner choke!. The choke is a little piece of heaven!.

Cut off the tip with a sharp knife to expose the center!. Then trim off the tips of the outer leaves with your kitchen scissors!. I like my artichokes steamed - this usually takes about 20 to 25 minutes!. Then you can pull the leaves off and eat each one!. When you finish the leaves, there is a stringy part left!. DON'T eat that part!. It can get lodged in your throat!. Instead, remove it with a spoon and you will find the artichoke heart underneath (which is the best part!)!. Enjoy!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

cut off the pointy parts of each leaf with scissors!.
cut off most of the bottom stem with a knife!.
steam in one of those foldy uppy steamers with holes in them for like 20 minutes!.
then eat each leaf individually by pulling it off and dipping the end that was closest to the flower in mayonaise (or melted butter!.!.!.i prefer mayo)!.
yum! i love artichokes!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I usually cut the tips off of them, put it a pot of boiling salted water and cook for about 20-30 or until they give a little!. I usually serve with a garlic lemon mayo!. YummyWww@FoodAQ@Com

I believe you can boil them, too!. Though, I'm not sure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
