What is the proper way to make a hard boiled egg without the shell sticking to the egg ?!
I have always been told, put your eggs in a pot of cold water!.!.!.!.bring the water to a boil!.!.!.when the water starts to boil!.!.!.!.reduce heat to simmer and set timer for 15 min!. Eggs are done after 15 min!. My eggs are cooked when the time is up but i can't get the shell off without hacking up the egg!! Any suggestions!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

When the water starts to boil, you want to put a lid on the pan and remove from heat!. Leave the eggs in a covered pan for 15-20 minutes and the eggs will be done!. Transfer to a cool bowl of water and let the eggs cool for a little bit and see if that helps any!. =)
That's what I do!. When I don't let the eggs cool, that's when I run into the same problem you're having!.

do what you do but when you go to peel them run it over cold water and then crack the shell and then run it over cold water and peel(over trash)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Be sure you start with very fresh eggs and then cool completely in the cold water!. Peel them under the water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
