Okay, most people are gonna think I am nuts but I swear to God that this is fantastic, slice whole dill pickles and make a sandwich with that, dont use already sliced dill it somehow takes away from it!. I grew up eating these and I have dealt with a lot of jokes at my expense because of it, but if I could convince people to try it, they absolutely loved it and are still eating it now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I grew up on peanut butter, mayo and lettuce!. Must be mayo and not Miracle Whip type stuff!. Lots of all of them!. We always used iceberg lettuce!. also, best on homemade white bread!. That is the only time I still eat white bread!.

also, I have made toast, put peanut butter on each side and then put in strips of bacon!. Nummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is our favorite!. Use all of the following on the sandwich:

real butter
peanut butter
cream cheese
strawberry jam

and sometimes we add crispy bacon!. A little fattening and certainly not the best for fat, etc!., but it is a delicious treat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mix peanut butter with enough maple syrup to make it a creamy texture!. Spread on your bread!.
I have enjoyed this since I was a little girl!. My kids and grand kids love it, too!.
Peanut butter and Nutella would be another good variation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just based on what I know personally that tastes good:

Cherry preserves
Pineapple jelly
Marshmallow whip
Berry jam with a little crushed red pepper mixed in; add some chili pepper to the peanut butter -- a nice, grown-up, kicked-up PB&JWww@FoodAQ@Com

Peanut butter with honey
Peanut butter and banana (also tastes very good grilled)
Peanut butter with Nutella (an Italian chocolate hazelnut spread)
Peanut butter with any kind of jam, jelly, or preserves
Peanut butter with fresh fruit instead of the jellyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Peanut butter and honey is really good, especially on toast!. You can also make a peanut butter and banana sandwich!. Toast the bread, mash some banana on one side, spread peanut butter on the other!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
