Ingredients:
?1 1/2 lbs!. dry navy beans (3 cups dried), soaked overnight, cooked until tender
?1 cup ketchup
?2 cups water
?2 tbsp!. dark molasses
?1/4 lb!. diced salt pork or diced bacon
?1/2 cup chopped onion
?1 cup brown sugar
?2 teaspoons dry mustard
?1 tbsp!. salt
Preparation:
Combine cooked navy beans with remaining ingredients; mix gently to blend ingredients!. Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours (high 2 1/2 to 4 hours), stirring occasionally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm going to give you two recipes!. The first starts with a can of pork and beans that you modify to make better!. The second is from scratch!. The first is the sweeter kind and the second is Boston Baked Beans that has a more molasses flavor!.

PORK AND BEANS

1 large can pork and beans
2 T brown sugar
2 T prepared mustard
1/2 lb bacon, chopped and fried until barely crisp
1/4 c catsup

Mix all together and heat to the boil!. Turn down the heat and simmer 15 minutes!.

BOSTON BAKED BEANS

1 lb dry navy beans
1 onion - diced
1/4 lb salt pork - cut into small chunks
2 T brown sugar
1/4 c molasses
2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Cover beans in water!. Either let stand overnight in the refrigerator or bring to the boil, let boil 1 minute - cover, turn off the heat, and let sit 1 hour!. Drain!.

In a pot, combine beans and onion!. Add the salt pork and stir in!. Combine 3 c water, brown sugar, molasses, mustard, salt and pepper!. Pour over beans!. Cover and bake in a preheated 300o oven for 5 1/2 to 6 hours until beans are tender, stirring occasionally and adding more water as needed to keep moist!. Makes 5 cups!.

Not clear if you want to make them or use them in a dish!.
BAKED BEANS
Soak white navy beans overnight, simmer in water 1 hour next day!.
Cut up a lg piece of salt pork in skillet, saute with chopped onion!.
Make sauce from tomato juice, mustard, brown sugar, etc!.
Bring pot of sauce to a boil, reduce volume, add salt pork & onions!.
Transfer beans to a baking dish, pour sauce over beans to cover!.
Bake at 350F in oven for 1 hour!. Top up with soaking water if needed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well I'm lazy and just open a can!. I think they use Navy beans but check that out!. Fill up a pot with water, add the beans, bring it to a boil and then turn it down to a simmer!. Be sure to add some chunks of pork before the water reaches a boil!. Let it simmer for several hours!. The Coureur de Bois simmered the pot for the full day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use www!.cooks!.com a lot, and this is one that came up!. It's actually pork chops and beans, but I figured that it still sounded good!. I'll poke around some more and get back to you if I find anything!.

1 lg!. cooking bag
2 tbsp!. flour
1 c!. thick & chunky salsa
2 tbsp!. lemon juice
3/4 c!. chili powder
1/2 tsp!. garlic powder
4 pork chops (trim fat)
1 can kidney beans
2 green peppers, chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees!. Shake flour in bag and leave!. Add salsa, lemon juice, chili powder and garlic powder; shake bag to mix!. Put in pork chops, put beans and green peppers on top of chops!. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes!.



EDIT: This one is pretty basic, but it sounds awesome!.

PORK 'N BEANS

8 to 12 med!. thickness pork chops, uncooked
1 lg!. can baked beans

TOPPING:

Equal parts of ketchup, mustard, brown sugar

1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees!.
2!. Place baked beans in bottom of 9x13 pan!.

3!. Layer pork chops on top of beans!.

4!. Spread topping evenly!.

5!. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees!.

Serves 6!.
