Frosting has melted on my cupcakes!! HELP!!?!

Question: Frosting has melted on my cupcakes!! HELP!!!?
I made lovely cupcakes yesterday and last night I piped the frosting and decorated them for my nieces 1st birthday today!.

The birthday part is at 11am this morning and its 7am now and have just waled into the kitchen to find that all of the vanilla cupcakes, the white frosting on them has melted!!!

Has anyone got any tips to fix this!? Obviously I am now going to have to try to perform a delicate operation right now and scrape all the melted stuff off, try to clean the cakes and start over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, you're right that you need to re-do it now!. In the future, you'll need to be sure that you wait until the cupcakes are 100% cooled before you frost!. If it's just that you live in a warm area, either crank up the A/C or put them in the fridge when you're done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sorry your frosting melted!. Must be warm where you are or in your home!. Yep, you're going to need to scrape it off and make more frosting to replace it!. In a hurry, you can take some Cool Whip and a package of vanilla instant pudding!. Make up the pudding and mix it into the Cool Whip!. That will hold the cool whip!. Then just dunk your cupcakes into the cool whip mixture and give it a twist!. If you have any sprinkles, add them on top!.

hope that helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Frosting made of icing sugar and milk will do!. It won't melt even in the heat of the sun!. Just put a lot of icing sugar to make it very stiff and add food colors if you want to make it colorful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
