Coloring eggs with Wilton dyes?!

Question: Coloring eggs with Wilton dyes!?
I have used grocery store coloring for eggs before, just adding vinegar!. Wondering if anyone knows for certain if the Wilton brand, found at Michael's and other craft shops, can be used in the same way!.

Thanks all!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, just use it as you would the liquid, just be more conservative in the amount you use because they are concentrated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've used them for years!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes you can !.!. a point of interest about eggs, if you paint a fertile egg prior to hatching the chicken comes out the colour of the outer shell , ie red, green, purple etc!. its a gimmick for children , it only lasts for a couple of days ,then the chick goes to the natural colour ,hell of a shock for the mother henWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it can you just have to use much less since the consistency is so thick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
