Hot dogs should they be cooked in beer?!

Question: Hot dogs should they be cooked in beer!?
Is it better (taste wise) to boil hot dogs in water or beer!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
On the contrary, I grill mine or broil them in the oven sometimes(if desperate), and them keep them soaking in a broth of beer, onions, fresh garlic, black pepper, and garlic powder, they stay hydrated and full of moisture and I have a great hot dog, full of seasoning!. I go all out when I do have hot dogs because we don't have them often, so I go with all beef, kosher brands, with no preserv/nitrates!. XO!!:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think regular hot dogs are any better in beer!. However, I always cook Bratwurst in beer, and serve like a hot dog- with cooked onions, green peppers, mushrooms and good mustard!. The beer just adds flavor, all of the alcohol is cooked off!.

For good hot dogs, they are so much better grilled than boiled, split in half and grill until done and somewhat brown!. serve on a bun with any of the following:

mustard, ketchup, diced onions, relish, chili, grated cheddar cheese, saurkraut, jalepenosWww@FoodAQ@Com

I have cooked them in beer and they are very good that way!. Put them in the crockpot with lots of sliced onions and sliced jalapenos from a jar!. One or two beers should be plenty of liquid!. Cook until they are steaming hot!. Simple and good! Even better if you throw them on the grill for a minute or two after removing them from the crockpot!. Put them on a nice soft bun with mustard and some of the onions and peppers!. Mmm!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just my own experience!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've cooked Wurst in beer but we like regular hot dogs grilled!. The best way tho is on a stick over a fire!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
