Parts of my cake won't get done?!

Question: Parts of my cake won't get done?
I followed the recipe correctly. I'm currently baking it at 350 degrees...but it's been cooking for about an hour and a half now. It's not burnt, it's golden brown, but parts are STILL raw for some reason.

Hi Marylin, It is possible that the oven wasn't hot enough when you put the cake in or you keep opening the oven door or you are using the wrong sized pan. If you followed the directions for pan sizes as well then the only other things I can think of is that the recipe is wrong or the flour is stale. I hope this helps, all the best. Rab

Is the pan over 9" wide? If so turn the heat down to 325 and bake it some more. Rotate the pan and switch racks as well. This, ,most likely, will do the trick!

Your oven may be at fault. You don't want to overbake your cake, try this, lower your temp to 325 degrees and bake a little longer.

Sounds like oven issues. That cake should be done by now.
