can i still bake cookies without baking sheets?!

Question: Can i still bake cookies without baking sheets?
i have an aluminum thin pan

Answers:

sure. put some foil on the pan and you'll be fine. i do it and my cookies taste like they're supposed to, so there really cant be anything wrong with it.

its what i do

If your pan's sides are high, that could create more moisture in the baking environment than you get with a flat cookie sheet. Also, you won't have enough room to space the cookies, so they may run together. Otherwise it should be all right. Or, for use with a pan like a pie pan or cake tin, you could chose a bar cookie recipe instead of the drop type.

yea, just cleean the pan really good, then rub butter on the bottom.
it works great instead of oil because butter leaves a taste thats already in the cookies.
Oil will bring out the metal flavor in the pan, and thats gross

years of baking

Turn your aluminum thin pan upside-down. Instant cookie sheet!
Most cookie recipes call for a non-greased pan because of the high fat content of the dough. You want to bake, not fry, your cookies.

i say yes but a cookie sheet is better i made homemade cookies in a pan that u cook meat in and my son says they would have been better on a cookie sheetbut i am all for what u have is ok

It's okay to improvise a decent amount of a well greased piece of aluminum foil works just fine for me.

yeah, just spray it with Pam or Baker's Joy. :) liberal amounts will keep them from sticking.

if you put some margarine or butter on it but yeah it's perfect
