have you ever eaten chicken tartar? is it safe to eat? what does it taste like?!

Question: Have you ever eaten chicken tartar? is it safe to eat? what does it taste like?
Answers:

I have eaten it, and it is not safe. There is a high prevalence of Salmonella and Campylobacter. Samples show that about half of commerically available chicken in the United States are contaminated with at least one of the two. Your digestive system might kill off whatever you eat without you getting an infection, but I haven't seen good estimates of that, but it is not a chance you would want to take. I was very, very sick.

I didn't realize that it was supposed to be chicken. It was easy to chew like fish, and it was juicer than cooked chicken, and it had less flavor than cooked chicken (but it was breaded, so that may have covered up some of the flavor).

Chicken is good because it has a little texture to it. Too soft is not an improvement. 4 days in the hospital was definitely not an improvement.

it is not safe.

Eating raw chicken is playing Russian Roulette with salmonella.

Don't do it! or if you've done it don't do it again!

Sounds like a guaranteed case of the runs, to me. Chicken is not to be eaten raw.
