Question: How do i cook a giant cookie so the outsides dont burn?
im making my boyfriend a heart cookie about 6 or 7 inches wide, and i want it to be moist and chewy and for the outsides to not burn. are there any techniques to make this work??

Bake it at the recommended temperature and check it frequently. If you notice the edges getting brown before the middle is done, use the same principle as with pie crust. Cover the edges with aluminum foil and that will prevent further browning. Hope this helps and have a happy Valentines day!

you could try cooking it at a lower temperature. make sure you take it out of the oven just as the edges get golden brown.
