Can you smoke fennel seeds?!

Question: Can you smoke fennel seeds?
I have an abundance of fennel seeds around my house that I usually eat after a meal (Indian tradition), and a lot of cigarette papers, as well. I was wondering: can you crush up the seeds like you would marijuana and smoke it through a joint? Would it produce any effects? Thanks.

Answers:

Taking too much fennel can cause an individual to become more sensitive to sunlight (photosensitivity), according to PDR. This can make severe sunburn more likely. Anyone supplementing with fennel seeds should be cautious about sun exposure, and wear protective clothing and sunscreen when spending time in sunlight.
Taking large amounts of fennel seeds also can cause problems, according to the Physicians' Desktop Reference. Some people may experience upset stomach, nausea and vomiting after taking fennel seeds.
I could not find on google any reference between funnel seeds and smoking. It is not good for smoking except to add it in small quantities as additive for flavor (some chewing tobacco manufacturers do it).
You might have a hormonal imbalance if your body NEEDS the fennel.
Fennel seeds are a natural source of Estrogen,
it helps calm down males who are over-testosteroned,
and for women who wish to naturally augment breast size,
Fennel will assist in this too.
It's also good for digestion and relieves intestinal gas.
In small quantites of course.
Fennel was once an official drug in the United States for treating indigestion, according to the University of Michigan Health Center. The UMHC notes that research is lacking to confirm any health benefits from taking fennel as a supplement
