Easy peasy

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Remove chicken from its plastic bag, if it is in one.
Remove the bag of giblets from the cavity of the bird.
Remove any large deposits of fat from the cavity.
Trim any loose skin with a sharp knife.
Remove the tail, if you want, or leave it on. It's an aesthetic decision.
Place a roasting rack in a baking pan with sides at least 1 inch high.
Place bird on the rack with its breast-side up.
Grind fresh pepper onto the bird, and sprinkle with a little salt. Salt and pepper the cavity as well. Rub all over with olive oil and stuff with fresh herbs and barbeque sauce
Place the baking pan on an oven rack in the lower-middle part of the oven.
Roast the chicken for 45 to 60 minutes or until the juices run clear when a sharp knife is inserted into the joint between the body and the thigh or until an instant-read thermometer registers 165 degrees at the same joint.
Remove the roast chicken from oven, cover loosely with foil and let rest 10 minutes before carving.

baked chicken

here r a couple of the easiest but best recipes my family just LOVES.

pre-heat over to 350

put chicken in baking pan and smother with italian dressing for extra flavor sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. YUMMY cover tightly with foil,
throw it in oven for about 2 1/2 hours and u have your self a delicious meal the chicken just falls apart when u touch it with a fork. enjoy

now if u want the same delicious meal that falls apart when u touch it with the fork do all the same steps above but instead of smothering in italian smother with a bottle of bar b que sauce. cover and cook 2 1/2 hours and tah dah dinner is served

Pre-heat the oven to 350. Rinse the chicken off with cool water, pat dry with paper towels. Line a glass baking dish with aluminum foil, then place the chicken in the aluminum foil. Cover chicken with BBQ sauce. Seal up the aluminum foil (like a pouch).

The amount of time in the oven will depend on the weight of the chicken - when I cook 3 to 3.5 lbs. of chicken breast, it's about an hour and a half.

Just open the pouch and check after about an hour (since I don't know how much chicken you have). The chicken should flake with a fork - if it is "rubbery" it is not done.

Get those oven bags that are used for baking turkeys, then dump the raw chicken in the bag, pour bbq sauce into the bag, seal it up, jiggle it around until all the pieces are covered. Put it in a oven safe pan and bake. or just do the same steps.in any oven pan...cover it tightly......crockpots do well too but take longer

Season the chicken...bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes...until juices run clear...the last 20 minutes add BBQ sauce...save some for dipping...

Enjoy...

Wrap it in tinfoil to keep the moisture in. Dont at the BBQ until the last 15 minutes (and leave it unwrapped after doing this). Bake at 350 for 45 mins total...
