Baking Help! I'm making a pizza crust, the recipe says to put dough in a bowl coated with *coil?!

Question: Baking Help! I'm making a pizza crust, the recipe says to put dough in a bowl coated with *coil?
I don't know what *coil is, I have never seen the term before, I was guessing it might be egg white or maybe a light coating of flour, I think it has something to do with making the crust crispy, but I really don't know Do you know what *Coil is?

Answers:

That would be a mis-print, they meant oil, preferably olive oil

I think it means you should have curly hair in the bottom of the bowl. It should be natural curl not ironed, because it has to hold up to the moisture. You should find an Irish lass and steal a lock of her curls.

Coat the bowl with oil. A light coat not a whole lot. This allows the dough to rise but not stick to the bowl nor will the dough become "crusty" from drying out..
