how to make boneless pork chops on stove top?!

Question: How to make boneless pork chops on stove top?
I usually bake my pork chops but this time, i want to cook them in a pan. Ive never done this before and i am still new at cooking on my own :) so any advice or suggestions would be great!
I plan on seasoning them with lemon pepper and thats about it. my aunt did this once, but she would used pork chops with the bone.. do you think itll tatse the same boneless?
How high should i have my heat and should i put oil in the pan or should i put it in just like that?
thanks :)

Answers:

sear them first on both sides and then lower the heat, cover the pan and let them simmer on low. Check periodically to make sure they are not drying out in the pan... if you have a heavy pan/lid they will not dry out because the steam created in cooking drains back into pan. If the utensils are not so great then you should make sure there is some liquid there or they will end up too dry. Also, I think a little oil first (just to keep them from sticking) is a good idea; but add the oil after the pan is hot and just before you put the chops in to sear. Be careful because if the pan is too hot wither the oil will burn or it will splatter. If you have a well-seasoned pan, oil may not be necessary.
