What sides do you have with pork chops?!

Question: What sides do you have with pork chops?
I'm making pan fried pork chops with fried onions. Sides?? Besides mashed potatoes. We're out of potatoes! :)

Answers:

Applesauce or sliced whole apples seared in butter and a little white wine in the pan which you seared the chops. The wine will help deglaze the goodness from the pork chops.....and apples go fabulous with pork.

I think sauteed green peppers are good with pork chops, and I always put sliced bell peppers on my pork chop casserole. What about pasta or rice? You could put grated cheese on either for flavor. Or garlic bread--just mix some margarine or butter with garlic powder or chopped garlic and put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Noodles or rice with a little butter and parmesan. A veggie. My favorite would be a broccoli casserole or squash casserole. Yum! And you can't go wrong with applesauce or mac and cheese.

Fried onions with cooked mushrooms are also a great combination.

Applesauce is great with pork chops. Warm it up in the winter, or leave it cold in the summer.

Any kind of veggies, buttered bread is good.
