Yellowy substance in tinned tomato soup? Poured in to recipe?!
Hi
I poured some tomato soup from a can in to a casserole I'm making, and there was this yellowy jelly like substance in a part of it.
My husband said it's just probably something not quite mixed through?maybe vegetable gum or one of the other ingredients?
What do you think?
I'd already put it in the casserole?

Serve it up to him first and wait 5-10 mins before trying it yourself.
If it wasn't passed its used by date, I wouldn't be concerned. Next time shake the can before using, that will make sure it's all mixed together properly.
