I need to keep my cupcakes for 2 days, should I put them in the fridge?!

Question: I need to keep my cupcakes for 2 days, should I put them in the fridge?
And should I frost them now, or closer to the day? They are store-bought vanilla cupcakes.

Keep them in the fridge, then frost them later.

Keep them in the fridge. If you are frosting them with a butter cream frosting, frost them on the day you plan to eat them. If you are using a normal frosting, it would be fine to frost them now and store in the fridge. For a better cupcake, remove and keep out of the fridge for about an hour prior to serving, this will make them soft and buttery to eat!

yes, they will stay fresh longer in the refrigerator, and wait until closer to time to serve them to put the frosting on.
