Are electric potato peelers any good?!

Question: Are electric potato peelers any good?

I ask because no shop sells them, only online and e-bay. I have arthritis in my hands and am hoping these peelers are worth the money. I realise they don`t take the eyes out but if they take the peel off, that will do for me.

I'm not sure, but I did see this video and I'm curious as to how well it actually works. I have yet to try it, but it seems it works great.

It looks like it may be a bit time consuming, but I think it would be worth it considering the pain from arthritis.

honestly, the most nutritious part of a potato is the skin, so just leave the skins on... usually it will taste better too.

If they were any good restaurants would use them to save time. Invest in a potato peeler with a decent handle and you should be able to manage.

I haven;t used one but I really don;t see it being worth while.

There are several styles of hand peelers. What kind do you currently use. Would a different style be better for you?

I recieved one as a gift and I really did not like it so it sat a few years then I gave it away WASTE OF MONEY....I am old fashion and prefer to use a paring knife.
