Boiling is boiling. However, altitude alters the boiling point. I'm up a mountain almost a mile (5194 feet), and my water boils at about 202F or 95C.
Water doesn't always boil at 100° C. It would depend on the altitude. The higher the altitude the lower the boiling point. Adding salt will raise the boiling point AND the freezing point. That's why we spread salt on wet roads in freezing conditions.
Some substances can get hotter than 100f. Water obviously evaporates at 100c but alcohol will boil at less than 100c and Oil can reach much higher temps
Yeah 100 degrees c which equals 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Also this is at sea level, so it will vary depending on your altitude.
Q.E.D. i think....depending on the salt content, or elevation, this is going to be different for everything.
it depends on the variables (the pot, temperature & if it is water or oil)
That all depends on what it is water boils as you said at 100 but sugar is around 130
Ok then 212 degrees farenheit at sea level
At sea level water boils at 100 degrees ..your right...but it varies where you are...
