Can I freeze a cooked chuck roast?!

Question: Can I freeze a cooked chuck roast?
It was a family pack (2 roasts) but I figure if I'm doing all the work, I might as well do two. If I CAN freeze it, can I also freeze the potatoes, carrots & onions that I'm cooking with them?

Answers:

Yes. Wait until it cools down, put it in a zip lock, press the air out & seal. You could also save some time & slice the beef first, & seal in individual zip locks. Then you can pull out only what you need to defrost in the fridge; and make different meals with the leftovers..

Yes...put the veggies in a zip lock bag and put in a container with a tight lid...Put the roast in a container with a tight lid...But I suggest that you use the roast within 3 months...

Just my experience...
