I don't put sauce, but I know some people put hot sauce

Bearnaise. It is used in both 'eggs benedict' (with ham) and 'eggs florentine' (with broccoli).

If you are ever in Chicago, try the eggs benedict at 'Fox and Oble'. Served with beautiful slabs of canadian ham and topped with shaved truffle. A mug of chai latte and the saturday morning papers makes the perfect weekend breakfast!

Most Americans that I have ever known, do not use any sauce on eggs for breakfast.
In fact Ive never even heard of sauce for eggs except for Eggs Benedict, which is not usually an 'everyday" kind of breakfast.

I just use salt & pepper. But my table salt is fresh ground Sea Salt and my pepper is fresh ground peper corns.
:)

I hope this helps.

Sometimes nothing. But if we do put some sort of sauce on them, it's usually either ketchup or hot sauce, like Tabasco sauce.

I only add a little salt and pepper.

some people like hot sauce or ketchup. For special occasions we do hollandaise for eggs benedict.

I'll use ketchup on scrambled eggs but if I make poached or over easy, I eat those on top of buttered toast but no sauce

Once in awhile I will put gravy on my scrambled eggs, but normally nothing.

Generally just salt and pepper. But occasionally I'll put a dab of salsa on them with a sprinkle of cheese.

I don't put any sauce on my eggs...if I have eggs for breakfast...I fry over easy with salt & pepper..
