nope as a chef i have several excellent homemade recipes so for me the tube stuff tastes horrible.... but it appeals to the home cook bc its easy to make and takes no effort.

depends on the personal taste and recipe used. some recipes are not so good. also depends on the age of products used to make from scratch. pre-made dough is usually sweeter than the homemade, and usually have added preservatives. if you prefer the very sweet with homemade add a little extra sugar and know for sure what you are eating. and by the way sugar is a natural ingredient from a plant.

Premade ( that stuff in the plastic tube) is SO full of sugar, you don't even taste the chocolate chips or falvours of butter and flour, it's also really greasy and just ick.

Home made is better every time.

I think home made tastes fresher than pre-made cookie dough. But if you don't have a good recipe then maybe it is much better for someone else to make the dough for you.

NOOOOOOOOOOO... the premade is made with lard instead of butter and I can totally taste the difference.

i think that homemade is much more fresher and i think its really fun preparing the dough XD
