How to get my mom to let me make pancakes?!

Ask her to help you ... or tell her you'll help her. Make it an activity you do together.

tell her to put her aching feet up and relax while you get everything ready, and in 10 minutes you'll bring her a nice plate of hot pancakes. Just read what the box says and you can't go wrong, although be warned: even if you butter the pan well that first one will usually stick a little bit. After that, they slip right out. Don't get your burner too hot or too cool--a nice medium high heat is perfect. The pancake will be ready to flip over when it has bubbles all over the surface. YOu can lift the edge and peek at the underside, if it's golden it's ready to flip over. don't press down on them with the spatula bc you'll make them heavy. yum--sounds great. (at 15, you should know how to cook almost everything.)

I would go to Mom and say "Lets make them together. Teach me".

Perhaps that approach might work. Truth is she should allow you to cook now so you can learn how to take care of yourself later in life. You can tell her Buttercup says so.

since you said your not good at cooking shes probably afraid your gonna make a mess trust me my gives me that **** a lot so try telling her you'll clean up.

At 15 it should not even be a question....when do you start learning? when you will move out and buy food and ask what do i do with it now? Can you even make yourself an omelet?

its not hard to make decent pancakes. a little practice goes a long way

im 15 too and my mama lets me make pancakes... thats pretty weird if your mama wont let you cook by this age.. if my mom did that and i were hungry id probaly tell her "why not im old enough!!!!"

Tell her you will clean the kitchen afterwards.
