Hi, the way I do ribs is to cook them for a long time at low heat. I cook my ribs in the oven for 3 hours at 290 degrees F covered with aluminum foil. Apply what ever marinade or rub before hand. You will enjoy your ribs...

if youre gonna grill them do so but dont use direct heat, rub whatever spices you wanna use first(a good combination is salt, pepper, cayane pepper, oregano, some brown sugar) always set the charcoal or heat on the side not directly, once the ribs have been grilling(covered) for about 1 hour you can start glazing the ribs, once glazed let back in the grill(covered) for about 30 more monutes and than glaze again another 30 minute and glaze. after that you can take the ribs out and they should be perfect.

rub first
if youre using an oven which is not the best choice, wrap in foil for the first hour and bake unwrapped for each side for about 30 minutes. and than youre done.

put the ribs in a big rectangular pan, covered tightly with foil, and bake those puppies at 325 for 2 or 3 hours, depending on how many pounds of ribs you have. Or you can use one of those Reynolds baking bags, oven bags, and achieve the same result. Slow even heat and having them well covered is what makes that swine to tender and tasty. Remove them from the juice, bc a lot will cook out, let'em dry a little --I put mine on a rack --then put them on the grill with the sauce & keep sopping 'em 'til they get sticky. That's the sugar in the sauce that gets all gooey. unh unh. eating good. . . .

I never thought about making my ribs, it just happened automatically within my body. If you are wondering about how to COOK ribs, well that is a whole different story!

smoke them low and slow... will always give the best flavor

don't sauce them until you serve them... use a dry rub and let them sit in your fridge for 24 hrs.

Bake them first for an hour and a half then cook in crock pot for 4-6 hours.

3 hrs at 300
put a little water on cookie sheet with a rack cover
