Flavoring Pastry Cream?!

Question: Flavoring Pastry Cream?
I need to make a cake for one of my classes. I decided to make it St. Patrick's Day themed. Issue? I want to make Bailey's Irish Cream flavored Pastry Cream and i have no idea on how to flavor it correctly. Do you add it to the vanilla at the end? Do you substitute it for the vanilla? Half and half?Should you add it at the beginning? Help?

I would add it at the end, for the same reason you would vanilla - both are alcohol based and the flavor is dissipated if you add it before you cook it. Depending on how strong you want it, you can use slightly less cream/milk (couple tbsp) to make sure it doesn't thin too much when you add it.
