Baking a cake for my girlfriend?!

Question: Baking a cake for my girlfriend?
It says to use milk of course in the recipe but I only have soymilk. Will this make the cake taste bad?

There should be no difference, I think it's a healthier option too.

I've never tried soymilk but it will probably work fine. I've used soured milk in baking or cooking recipes with no problem at all, even though I wouldn't want to use it in a fresh recipe due to the taste.

Nope, no difference at all. I'm assuming you have plain soy milk. If you have vanilla soy milk, it might alter the taste a little- but in a good way.

it'll be fine. i really don't think it'll make a difference, it might alter the taste ever so slightly but it won't change the texture of the cake or anything. i think it'll still be great :)

I havent used soy milk before but you can use water and it will be just as good....
