Here are some notes that may help you with your answers!
- im using the "like homemade" flat noodles that dont need to be boiled
- im planning to freeze it for up to 3 days before baking it
- I hope to include these ingrediants while cooking
mushrooms, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, ground beef, if needed moz cheese too.

I would simmer those mushrooms in the sauce. Otherwise they will have too much of a "bite" to them or end up "rubbery".
Also, I use ricotta, provolone, parmesan, romano, mozzarella & fontina.
I *NEVER* use cottage cheese. That's some kinda "Yankee" thing.
I usually put the meat filling at the bottom with a bit of cheese to "glue" it together.
Some people use egg to hold the cheese mixture together. Some people use milk.
I also agree with the other poster before me. I use Italian sausage as well. Sometimes even ground lamb if I can catch it on sale.
If you are going to freeze it, make sure that you cover it tightly otherwise it's gonna soak up any odors in your fridge.
Don't use cottage cheese only ricotta, always use mozzarella cheese. Make your own meat sauce, use half Italian sausage and ground beef.
In a deep dish pan layer
noodles
sauce
ricotta cheese mixture
mozzarella
noodles
repeat the above for as much ingredient will fit in the pan ending with the mozzarella.
Bake covered till bubbly - about 45 minutes to an hour.
Uncover during the last 15 minutes to 'seal' the cheese.
Allow to cool uncovered for about 45 minutes before slicing
I have never used the no bake noodles so I can't comment on their texture or flavor. I cook mine till quite stiff. They continue to soften during the cooking process. Never did the mushrooms, I guess you could add it to the sauce.
You could freeze if you have to, but uncooked, the dish will be fine for about 2 days.
Everything is pretty much already cooked, you are just warming it up.
Ok you need first off cook the mince, drain off any fat from the mince, add the onions, mushrooms, toms if you have any,add an oxo,tom sauce, alittle brown sauce once cooked set aside. The white sauce melt some butter in a pan add flour beat together add milk little by little add salt beat until you have a thick sauce not to thick like custard you could even throw some cheese into the sauce. Now place some of the mince mixture into a dish then cover with lasagna strips then the white sauce over the pasta then again with the mince pasta sauce then top with the cheese then into the oven ENJOY.
you should atart off with the noodle first then the ricotta then the sause then the meat you can layer it like that as much as you want the top layer usually is mainly sauce and cheese but you can add meat i think everyone makes meals differently :0
ive made it
Layer order: sauce (so the noodles don't stick), noodles, meat, cheese. Mozzerella on top.
You hadn't mentioned if the mushrooms were in the sauce, so I didn't list them. The noodles will soften as the dish bakes in the oven.
