How should you store PREPARED tea?!

Question: How should you store PREPARED tea?
Tea is essential to a lot of my recipes. I make various kinds. Often, though, I don't have time to make the sort particular to what I am making, so I make them in advance. My problem is that my fridge is very small. MUST you store prepared tea in the fridge? Or would a cool, dark place do, like a cupboard? Will prepared tea go bad or become unsafe if not stored in the refrigerator?

In general you need to refridgerate brewed tea or it will grow bacteria or other microorganisms. Even with refridgerated tea, it's best to use it up in a few days.

My experience with preparing tea is that you can let the brewed tea sit at room temperature for a few hours, but I would not let it sit overnight. In the fridge, a few days is best.

It will go bad if it's in the cabinet and not in the fridge. It would be best to put it in the refrigerator and stir it occasionally until you use it.
