HELP! What powder is on powder donuts? Is it Baby Powder?!

Question: HELP! What powder is on powder donuts? Is it Baby Powder?
I'm confused and slightly embarrassed.

Answers:

Don't be embarrassed. Baby powder isn't edible and is used to prevent diaper rash. It wouldn't taste nearly as good or sweet as the powder on donuts, which is powdered sugar. Powdered sugar is very, very fine sugar, usually used as a topping for baked goods.

baby powder?? is it sweet?? then it is not baby powder which is talcum.

It IS powdered sugar or icing sugar or whatever you want to call super fine sugar!

It is not quite pure sugar! It does have a little corn starch in it to keep it from clumping into a solid brick.

Hi there, please do not use baby powder, otherwise you will be sneezing yr head off. you can use caster sugar for donuts or icing sugar your choice. Best of Luck

Confectioners' or "powdered" sugar

If they are baby donuts, then yes, it's baby powder.
