Question: Why does garlic and onions is almost found in every recipe or cooked meal?
You must always include them in every cooking! Why? What are their advantages and what they do actually to your food while cooking?

Answers:

Because they not only taste great, they are good for you as well.

About the only things I don't put onion and garlic in are sweets.

The other day a young lady was asking for recipes and specified that she didn't like onions.

I had to go through dozens of recipes and only managed to find two that didn't call for onion.

I told her that if she'd come stay with me for a week she'd either learn to like onion or starve.

They add flavor. they are also very healthy additive and a delicious way to get that additive.
If you cook and have a favorite recipe that calls for onion, the next time you make that dish, skip the onion and you will taste the difference.
While it is true that you don't NEED onion or garlic, I WANT onion and garlic; in my opinion, it enhances the foods I use it with.



You are right that a lot of recipes contain garlic and or onions, mainly because they have a good flavour, but there are other herbs and spices in different recipes that can also be added to many other meal preparations. Just find more recipes to try out and the variety out there is endless.

there truely is no dish that has no foundation or repair in S&P

it is kinda funny that humans been here for these many years and learned to exagerate the beauty around us,,,that would include taste,,,,,nice to see ya and welcome to the club



must be the shows you watch, several well known chefs add it to all thier dishes..
both are very healthy, add zest or sub tial back ground flavor....
try roasting/ and or/ baking them for a surprize., onions turne sweet, as does the garlic, both loose thier pungent tatse arromas
