Would you please give me your favorite soup recipe?!

Question: Would you please give me your favorite soup recipe?
Canned soup has SO much salt, and I don't like the taste of low-sodium salt.
If you have a delicious recipe that you've tried, please let me know. (Please don't just list a recipe to get a point. It wouldn't be worth it to either of us.)
Thanks!!!!

Answers:

Not sure what you mean by asking for a soup recipe and then asking people not to list a recipe.. I'm assuming you don't want us to list recipes from the internet?

I have a recipe for some really delicious Potato Leek Soup. All you need is peeled and diced potatoes, chopped leeks (white part only), vegetable stock, cream, salt and pepper. Sweat the leeks in some butter until they're soft, add the potatoes and cover with the stock. Bring to a boil, lower to a simmer. Cook until potatoes are very tender. Blend the soup with an immersion blender or a regular blender if you don't have one. Strain the soup to get all the remaining chunks out. (Straining with a strainer and a cheese cloth is even better!) Return the soup to a pot, season with salt and pepper and add just a touch of cream. You don't want the coup to taste like cream you just want that extra added silkiness and smoothness.

Sorry if this isn't what you wanted but your question is a little confusing. I Hope I helped you.

here is my favorite soup

Creamy Macaroni Chicken Soup

500 g chicken breast
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 white onions (minced)
1 large bell pepper (seeded and sliced into strips)
freshly ground black pepper
2 carrots (sliced into thin strips)
350 g macaroni noodles
2 cups evaporated milk
1 medium cabbage (roughly shredded)
2 Tbsp margarine
fish sauce / patis
rock salt
chopped spring onions

Creamy Macaroni Chicken Soup Cooking Instructions
Boil the chicken in 4 cups water. Save the broth to be used later.
Shred the Chicken meat with your fingers. Set aside.
Saute garlic and onion in oil over medium heat.
Add the bell pepper and cook until aromatic.
Stir in the shredded chicken.
Season lightly with ground black pepper.
Add the carrots, a quick sauté then the macaroni. Give it a stir to get the fat all around the pasta.
Pour in the chicken broth and 5 cups water. Simmer.
Pour in the milk, stirring gently.
Add the cabbage. From this point, the macaroni and the cabbage will cook at about the same time.
Add the margarine.
Season with salt.

I don't know it by memory, but it's the hot and sour soup with tofu from epicurious.com. It's not hard to find on the site, it's the only recipe for it there.
