Question: Looking for a recipe for the potato wedges that Safeway's deli makes...?
If any of you worked at the deli in Safeway, could you pass along the recipe for their potato wedges?

Hi Jamie,

I'm not so sure if this is the precise recipe, but my work at Publix in Orlando a while back and she made the oven fried and roasted potato wedges with this recipe. Once moving back west, we bought some at Safeway's deli and they seemed to be quite similar. Here's her recipe if you'd like to try it. It serves 6, it's easy and takes approx. 45-50 minutes.
Ingredients
* 3 large baking potatoes
* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
* 2 cups cornbread dressing mix
Directions: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Wash and pat dry the potatoes and cut each into 6 thick wedges. Next, mix the mayonnaise with the hot sauce, onion salt, garlic powder and pepper. Dip the potato wedges with the mayo mixture and roll them in the cornbread dressing mix. Place in a greased baking dish and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Try one for tenderness after 40 minutes as ovens differ in temperature.
Let me know if that works out for you, ok?
Best2u,
:))
