Yes, and it's probably better in that margarine has tons of trans fats. How about butter???

Yes! Taken from my package of crisco ( I had to double check :D )

this is the conversion it gives- 1 Cup Crisco + 2 Tablespoons of water = 1 cup of butter or margarine

When I substitute, I buy the butter flavored shortening.

unsalted butter...it's more energetic and fat but it's the best substitute

will yes and butter would give it a lot more flavor no butter then go ahead and use shorting
