What should I make for dinner?!


Question: What should I make for dinner?
I have no idea what I should cook for dinner. My wife isn't picky either. no box or frozen meal stuff. no french fine dining either. just somthing wholesome and good.

chicken cheese rice brocoli caserole is in mind as part of the meal...

any suggestions?

willing to buy what's needed. please don't suggest artichokes. lol. i don't care for them.

We're having fried chicken wings with sweet chili sauce, bacon wrapped green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and cornbread muffins.



Tequila Steaks

Ingredients
1/3 cup tequila
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic
8 ounces London broil steak
Directions
1.Combine the tequila, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic in a blender; blend until smooth. Place the steak in a plastic bag; pour marinade over the steak. Place in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
2.Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
3.Grill steak to desired degree of doneness, 7 to 8 minutes per side for medium.

I think it will go good with the cheese rice broccoli casserole. exclude the chicken though...just this time.

Fettuccine Alfredo
Ingredients
8 ounces dried fettuccine
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Grated or finely shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan melt butter. Add cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and boil gently for 3 to 5 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Drain pasta. Add pasta to hot sauce. Toss to combine. Transfer to warm serving dish. Serve immediately. If desired, sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, Makes 4

EASY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
Ingredients
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions
Prepare the pudding in a large bowl using 1 1/2 cups milk instead of the suggested 2 cups.
Fold in the whipped topping until blended. Refrigerate until chilled and serve



You should make these, my family loves them!
"Chicken Swiss Bundles"

1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1-1/2 teaspoons butter
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup cubed cooked chicken breast
1/2 cup chopped roasted sweet red peppers
1 tablespoon honey mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
12 frozen bread dough dinner rolls, thawed
2 tablespoons butter, melted


Directions:
In a large skillet, saute onion and mushrooms in butter until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add the chicken, peppers, mustard and seasonings; heat through. Remove from the heat; stir in cheese.
Flatten each roll into a 5-in. circle. Place 1/4 cup chicken mixture in the center of six circles. Brush edges with water; top with remaining circles. Press edges with a fork to seal.
Place on greased baking sheets; brush with butter. Bake at 350° for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Cut bundles in half to serve. Yield: 12 servings.



POT ROAST


heat oven to 325 degrees
put one, 2 1/2lb pot roast dredged in 1/4 c flour in a large pot with 2 tbsp of hot oil, brown on all sides.
Add 1/2 cup beef stock, 1/4cup balsamic vinegar , one bay leaf a pinch of thyme, one large onion quartered or 4 small halved, add 4 carrots cut in half.
1 head of garlic seperated and peeled
Put in oven covered for 2 1/2hrs take out roast and set aside, thicken gravy with 1/2c cold water poured in to 1/4 c of flour stir and add to simmering juices.
Juices must be almost boiling to get a thickened gravy. serve with mashed potatoes and corn



mini potato pancakes are always a nice touch :
grate 2 large russets ,add 1/2 c ap flour and toss ,beat two eggs and add to the potato mixture and 2 tbs milk ,mix well and spoon onto (into) hot fat in a skillet (no more than 1/4 inch deep and cook til golden brown ,turn and do it again ,serve hot with a thin slice of cheddar on top and salt lightly
total prep time :15 mins
cook time :6-10 mins
calories:100 -=125 each(fat calories =60)

Hopefully it would be something your wife and yourself would like, rather than what some complete strangers on the internet would have a taste for.

Seriously.

What color shirt would be best for me to buy today? Should I ask complete strangers that like different colors than I do?



If you're doing that casserole, then all you could even add would be a salad and/or some bread, like muffins or French bread.
