What Vegetables Would You Use In A Hawaiian Style Kabob?!?!

Question: What Vegetables Would You Use In A Hawaiian Style Kabob?!?
Im planning out a list of meals for a camping trip with a grill and want to make kabobs, I know what will be on the steak one but I want to make a hawaiian marinaded chicken kabob.
All I can think to put on it is red bell pepper and pineapple. I'd like one more veggie to go on it..any suggestions?!

Hi Sammie,

For an authentic Hawaiian marinade I suggest this:
# 2 cups teriyaki sauce/or tamari sauce
# ? cup butter, melted
# ? cup packed brown sugar
# ? cup soy sauce
# ? cup unsweetened pineapple juice
# 6 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
I suggest for your other veggie to marinade, either *mushrooms or *onion chunks
( they're sweet after grilling and go great with all kabobs!).
Make sure you marinade your chicken chunks for at least 2 hours prior to grilling for maximum flavor
Enjoy!

red, green, yellow peppers. grilled onions, squash, but also add fruit like grilled pineapple that REALLy gives it a kick of flavor. red grilled potatoes. mango also. they dont just use veggies but also fruits,,,and zucchini!

I would add red onion and green pepper. Then with chicken and pineapple that's really all you need. I would keep it simple but it will be very colorful with red and green peppers together.
