what should i make for a bake sale thats not traditional?!

Question: What should i make for a bake sale thats not traditional?
the youth at my church are having a bake sale but i was notified last minute so everyone already took the common recipes like cookies, brownies, cupcakes, crispies...

i want to make something different, any suggestions?? i want something that will definately sell out big, i want them to be impressed!!

i was thinking cake popsicles? or theres this wonton recipe i found but instead of using cheese you use hazelnut chocolate cream with bananas...does that sound good to you? would you buy that? thanks!

Make Rice Krispie Squares ... using Lucky Charms instead!

There are extra rich and chewy

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
7 cups Lucky Charms cereal
60 large or 6 cups miniature marshmallows

Method
In large heavy saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows. When completely dissolved, stir in cereal, mixing well. Using spatula or your clean fingers dipped in water, spread into buttered 13x9 inch pan. Cut into squares (a square biscuit cutter ensures uniform sizes and neat edges), wrap in pretty celophane and tie off with a cool ribbon

Good luck with your bake sale!

Take a look at TasteofHome.com for some great recipes for rice krispie treats, including a malted milk ball cruncy. You might also consider popcorn balls, cheesecake bites, caramel corn (drizzled with chocolate and mixed with semisweet and white chocolate chips called Zebra corn), chocolate cheesecake brownies, red velvet cupcakes, homemade reeses cups.....the list goes on. Good luck!

Lemon Squares, 7 Layer bars are ALWAYS a hit
Cake Popsicles are cute and wonton's could be good but do a trial run before you dedicate to making a bunch!

I made these White Chocolate Citrus Macaroons for Christmas and EVERYone loved them. I could NOT stop eating them myself! And they're not very citrusy, more like just plain ol' melt in your mouth good.
They're cheap, you can vary the sizes so you can make a little or a lot! Theyre really easy to do and everyone will be impressed! Sell them in bundles of 3 or 4 and you're guaranteed to have repeat customers!!

Make popcorn balls. we ake these for our church bakesales and they go over big time ! they are easy and don't take a lot of time. here is my recipe:
i cup popcorn-- not popped.
1 stick oleo and
18 large marshmellows.
pop the corn as you do. normaly r over popcorn andlpick out unpopped kernels. melt oleo and marshmelows in large pan. t bags and butter the bagsmy hands in sandwichover popcorn and mix well. this mixture is hot. I put my hands in sandwi g.baall in a zippered sandwichch bags and butter the bags. form into balls. I like to make them about the size of a softball. can wrap in plastic wrap or place each bag.
we sell them or 75 cents a piece.or larger ones for $1.00.
I usually get about 12 per batch.
good luck.

I like good soft fudge, especially a good peanut butter fudge. Pecan pie bars or mini tarts are good. Go for a full size pie. Make whoopie pies and you could make a non traditional flavor which any filling with any cookie flavor. A good buckeye candy usually sells well.

the hazelnut chocolate sounds good i would buy them just rember that the bananas will turn brown after they set around for awhile

How about something for the folks that like savory rather than sweet such as sausage cheese balls.

Baklava

try mini cheesecakes in a gram-cracker crumb tart shell.

Lemon bars, or jello cake
