Question: I want to make a 2 tier cake with fondant today, will it be ok tomorrow for the party?
Should I put it in the fridge after its done and decorated or leave it out but maybe covered?

You should be fine leaving the decorated cake out for a day. A cake covered in fondant can stay fresh for about 4 days. Make sure that you do not put the cake in the fridge. The fondant will soak up the moisture within the fridge and become very shiny and somewhat slimy. The best thing to do would be to cover the cake with plastic wrap and store it in a cool room in your home. I hope this helps! Good luck with your party tomorrow.



ya it should be fine, put it in the fridge though. you can decorate it the day before or the day of, it doesnt really matter, just make sure you take the cake out of the fridge a while before so it sets to room temperature
