Question: Have you ever prepared a food of another country? Or would like to?
If so, what did you make?

Answers:

I live in France, so can cook French and I have lived in Germany so i know a few German Dishes.
I was taught how to cook Indian food by a friend Gurdab in the UK, i have cooked a couple of Asian Banquets for Friends here in France. The secret is fresh corridar and making your own authentic sauces from scratch. I have some Hindu friends and they have taught me a couple of vegetarian dishes!



Italian ..Lasagna, manicotti, eggplant Parmesan
Chinese..Fried rice, beef and onion, beef and broccoli, egg rolls
Greek ..Spanokopita,
German. Beef Rouladen, Schnitzel, Bratwurst
There are many dishes other than the ones listed that I have made. As long as you follow the recipe most things are pretty simple.



sure: I have made stuffed peppers and stuffed cabbages (Polish and eastern European), I have made many many different Italian type pasta dishes, I have made chicken Marsala (Italian), how about weinerschnitzel, or corned beef and cabbage, or Szechuan Chicken or... A lot of what I cook is from a different culture. That is not to say that good old American cooking isn't great as well.



I have been on a spree of cooking middle eastern foods for the past 6 months. It does take a bit to get the seasonings of those unfamiliar foods just right. And there are so many to choose from!!



I cook polish, irish, english, french, italian and Moroccan food on a regular basis.



Yes. I get compliments on my Chicken Adobo from my Filipino co-workers! I'm Mexican, but they say it tastes like the real deal.

The first time I cooked a meal from another country was in high school. My group chose Germany and we made Sauerbraten. It was then that I realized that I don't care for hot pickled beef. lol



I made a Moroccan dish called Okra Tangine. It was really good.
