When I visit my chef mates in Liverpool and London on my trips to the UK (I am from Canada), we find them in the Asian shops, maybe in Yorkshire they are more scarce than the larger city's, but there not expensive, so if you can manage a day tip to a larger centre, pick up 2-3 packets for your time. The run 1-2 bob for a 200 gram bag.
You can purchase them off the internet. Here in the US they are in most grocery stores in the Asian isles, but if I couldn't find it locally I'd for sure just hit the internet and find them there.
