Should i put olive oil on steak after seasoning?!

Question: Should i put olive oil on steak after seasoning?
Have T-bone and strip steak already seasoned but I usually like some olive oil on there first...but forgot to apply. Should i just leave it be or is it alright to brush on some before searing? Thanks

Answers:

Olive oil doesn't need time to soak in. Go for it.
(it can also help distribute flavors from the seasoning/marinade, but don't worry about that now)

its best to brush some on before searing, for better flavor and even cooking. Just be sure to pat the steak dry from the marinade before you brush it with oil because you'll end up steaming the steak instead of searing it. Hope this helps good luck.

I always drizzle olive oil on also...yes you can still add it...

Enjoy...

Apply the oil, no problem.

Leaveit be at this point. If you are pan searing, put in pan heat it and then cook

leave it as is now, drizzle some into the pan if you really want to use some but not much

brush some on, it wont do any harm
