For the base, get a round loaf of Hawaiian sweet bread and cut it in half from the side like two wheels.
Lay them open side up and cover with your sauce and what ever else you like, then bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minuets.
It don't get any easier than that.

I've even done it on the BBQ.

Homemade pizza beats any stuff you can buy in the supermarket.

Make sauce then make the dough.

Pizza Sauce

Olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, diced
1 can of whole tomatoes
1 T dried mixed herbs

1 Fry off the onion and garlic in the olive oil until softened
2 Pour in the tomatoes and break up with a wooden spoon
3 Toss in the herbs and mix well
4 Cook for about 10mins, then set aside

Pizza Base??

2 T dried yeast
?? t sugar?
4 T lukewarm water
?2 c flour?
2 t salt?
1 c water

1 Mix yeast, sugar & water together & set aside in a warm place
2 Sift flour & salt into a bowl
3 Add the frothing yeast & water & make a smooth dough
4 Knead for 10mins
5 Put aside to rise for 1hr or until almost doubled in bulk
6 Punch down & knead to form pizza base(s)
7 Lay bases on a tray and allow to rise for 10mins - 20mins (they will rise!)

Making the Pizza

1 Preheat the oven as high as it will go!
2 Smooth sauce over pizza bases
3 Top with your choice of toppings
4 Place pizzas in the oven and back until brown and cheese is bubbly--about 14mins

I'm a chef but this is a 'home recipe'

Hi,

You can buy a baking mix or biscuit mix for this super easy recipe, but why not make your own? Bis-Qwik Baking Mix is a good thing to have on hand.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutesIngredients:

?1-1/2 cups baking mix OR Homemade Baking Mix
?1/3 cup hot water
?1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium bowl, combine baking mix, water, and olive oil and beat hard until a dough forms.

Press dough in greased 12" pizza pan, dipping your fingers in flour to prevent sticking. Top as desired, then bake at 425 degrees for 12-17 minutes until crust is brown and toppings are thoroughly heated. Makes 1 pizza, serves 4

I would put some shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni or salami (or both if you're a meat lover), sliced red and green pepper, diced onions, sliced mushrooms and a wee bit of hot peppers for topping!

Enjoy!

If you google pizza dough recipe you will find plenty of options, but you will need yeast, which you may not already have.

Ask at your supermarket. Many supermarkets sell raw pizza dough ready to use. There are also mixes available.
