My favourite lunch recipe is Moroccan couscous. I make it on weekdays so that I can take it to work as it is easy to take. I usually make it the day before so by the time I eat it at lunch, all the flavours have "bonded". It's brilliant.

My favourite dinner recipe has to be vegetable lasagna. Preparing the filling is quite fun (therapeutic, I'd say!) and the end product is always to die for... definitely one of my long life favourites.

Hope you get inspired to prepare something yummy!

I highly recommend this Marinated steak!

I Personally use Scotch fillet or rump steak for this but T-bone works well as well.

1/4 cup light soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoi sin sauce
1 table spoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1 clove crushed garlic (or 1 tablespoon of crushed garlic you can buy in a small jar)
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Mix all of them together and poor all of it into a snap-lock bag. I marinate two steaks in each bag but you could do three.
Marinate steaks in fridge for at least 3 hours (it still tastes exceptional with only 3 hours) but marinade the night before for best results.

Feel free to experiment with the marinade, I do a separate marinate bag for my brother and add some chilli sauce, for my dad I put in a bit more garlic.
Don't panic about ingredient variations. Any cooking oil will do, I use white sugar when I've ran out of brown.

I usually do a side of potato's in jacket (cook potato, cut it open, add butter, cheese, sour cream and sometimes some diced ham and spring onion)

PLEASE TRY THIS AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!
