What happens if we steam 'fried chicken'?!


Question: What happens if we steam 'fried chicken'?
I have heard that it all the oils drips into the water and it becomes oil free!! Is it true??? I am on a diet so should i fry the chicken and steam it!

Unfortunately, oil is hydrophobic, so this wouldn't work. It's the same principle as: can you remove the excess oil from your hair with only hot water? NO.

What you end up with is a soggy chicken. :(

My advice to you is to stir fry in some olive oil. Add parsley and some vegetables; mmm. :)



It sounds disgusting. I just picture a wet fried chicken.
