Would my carrot cake sink if I covered it in Fondant?!


Question: Would my carrot cake sink if I covered it in Fondant?
Hi there

I usually bake a really moist thick carrot cake and usually cover it with cream cheese icing

I am thinking the next time I bake it I might cover it in fondant but is there a chance it will sink or go funny-shaped?

the fondant will take the shape of the cake so if the cake turns out -so will the fondant
