Are Ramen Noodles good for you?!

Question: Are Ramen Noodles good for you?
I really love ramen noodles, but are they good for you? i Only like the chicken and the creamy chicken. That's all i've tasted so far. also any suggestions on flavors? I HATE SEAFOOD!

Answers:

They have way too much salt.

Depends on how you cook them & how often you eat them. I cook them using half the packet of seasoning that comes with the noodles, & add a 10 oz pk of frozen veggies to each pack of noodles. Then I use my own home made condiments & seasonings to flavor them to my taste.

Me

Too much sodium, msg, and hydrogenated fats.

I personally am partial to japanese style ramen. It is so good, it usually includes many toppings and fresh broth. I would look into making that instead of instant ramen.

i really like the beef flavored ramen, and its not that bad if you dont use the whole packet of seasoning, but if you do it is very high in sodium, and i love ramen noodles too, but the safest thing is to eat it once in a while.

If you just eat the noodles they are not too bad for you. But once you add that little package of seasoning they give you, forget about it!! If you add the provided packet Ramen is TERRIBLE for you!!! All sodium, so bad!!!

Not really, add vegetables to make them healthier. Also, the shrimp ones taste good to me, and the tiny shrimp are cute. I don't know of any other flavors.

well they are not good for you this is why (look below)
Calories:190
Sodium:830mg
total carbs:2 grams
1 half a block with the seasoning is 43grams and thats HALF A BLOCK!
Calories from fat=70

Not especially. They are loaded with salt, the noodles aren't whole grain, and there aren't enough discernible vegetables to count towards your 5-a-day

Not healthy, nope. But delicious and cheap. *sigh*

Try the chili flavor, it's really good to clear the sinuses, or just on a cold day.

They contain too much sodium.

The noodles themselves are not bad; but the soup is loaded with salt. I'd keep my consumption to a minimum.

Not really

way too much sodium
