- paprika

Thanks!

I think the turmeric, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, and curry powder (what, no garlic?!) would be delicious with the chicken and the veggies. Do you have any coconut milk? With rice, this would be wonderful!

Mix together turmeric, ginger, curry powder, & paprika, (about 1/2 teaspoon each), & allspice cloves, nutmeg, (about 1/4 teaspoon each) with 1-2 teaspoons of oil, & 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. Whip it with 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste) of salt & 1/2 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste. mix in about 1 lb of boneless chicken breasts, cubed into bite-sized pieces. Cover & marinate a couple of hours, (or longer if you want). Then heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a heavy pan & saute for about 10 min. till chicken is cooked & dry. You can marinate whole chicken breasts/ thighs/drumsticks in the same marinade for 4-6 hours & then grill them too.
I usuually use the bite sized boneless breasts & then cook them in the microwave on high for 4 minutes, let them stand for 2 minutes, mix well & nuke them for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat one more time if the meat is not cooked. Just don't skip the "let it stand & mix" steps before you decide to cook again.

My own recipe...very original.

will i would not use
cloves
nutmeg
chili pepper
allspice
ginger
and i don't think rosemary if you use the
curry powder
turmeric
paprika could go with any of the spices -ok not the sweet ones
