Ingredients
-1 cup milk
-1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons chocolate malt
-1 1/2 tablespoons powdered chocolate flavoring for milk
-1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
How to make Chocolate Malt
-Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender, process until smooth.
-Pour into individual glasses.

Ingredients
-1/4 cup chocolate syrup
-1/2 cup cold milk
-2/3 cup carbonated water, chilled
Directions
-Pour chocolate syrup into chilled large glass. Gently stir in milk. Holding the carbonated water about 5 inches from the top of the glass, slowly pour into the glass until a thick foam comes to the top of the glass.
-Using a long swizzle stick, stir the mixture once quickly, make sure the foam does not bubble over the glass. Serve immediately.
This is how I make chocolate malts
Put 8 ounces whole milk in a blender
Add a generous 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
Put the lid on the blender, turn on high and blend until the milk and cream are one
Add 2 heaping tablespoons malt powder, put the lid on and blend
Remove the center cap from the lid, put the lid back on and turn the blender on low (put a towel on top to ensure nothing will fly out of the top) and then add Hershey's Syrup until the desired color you want is reached (this is totally subjective).
Start adding scoops of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream (best to have 2 quarts on hand) until the blender 1) is full or 2) chokes and dies
Blend everything until infinitely smooth
Pour the malt into glasses and serve with a proper teaspoon (the kind with a very long handle) and a wide straw.
