Can an atheist still have a wonderful spiritual experience?!
Answers:
Definitely, if by this you mean the human spirit. I am an atheist and do not believe in the supernatural spirits who inhabit the minds of theists. I believe in the human spirit, the ability of people to care, to feel incredible highs from life's magical moments, and I count these experiences as wonderful spiritual experiences.
The greatest spiritual experience I have ever had was the moment my son was born. I looked at him as he nestled in my arms for the first time, and the human spirit in me soared above every mountain top on the face of the Earth! If that was not a wonderful spiritual experience, I do not know what to call it.
We all experience great moments of wonder and magic and natural highs in our lives, and as ALL the things we experience are inherently human, and we all have the human spirit, the capacity for great love, great joy, great bliss.
May we all spread our human spirit of love and kindness everywhere we go on our journeys through life, unto death.
Thanks for a fantastic question!

I can't. And neither can anyone else, because there's no evidence there's any "spirituality" to experience. You can feel something and *call* it "spiritual," but that's not the same thing.
I feel awe and wonder about the universe. I'm humbled by my children's love for me. I marvel at the intricacies of biological life. And much more. I just don't pretend they're "magic" or "supernatural."
Peace.
Well, let's just say my last spiritual experience involved a pair of handcuffs and a chilled bottle of whipped cream.
of course. Discovering something out about ourselves, using psycho tropic drugs, yada yada yada.
Being an Atheist means you don't believe in spirituality, generally speaking.
i would reconsider being an atheist, maybe the feeling is telling you to believe in god?
Absolutly
In eternity? Yes.
